At Al Manar Modern School (AMS), entrance exams are an essential part of the admission process. They are designed to assess students’ academic level, knowledge, and readiness to ensure proper placement and a successful learning experience. Students applying from Grade 2 to Grade 12 are required to sit for entrance exams in the core subjects appropriate to their grade level. These exams evaluate students’ understanding, skills, and academic abilities.
To support prospective students, sample entrance exams and study materials are provided in advance to help them prepare before the examination date. Applicants for Kindergarten and Grade 1 are assessed by the KG Coordinator, who evaluates their knowledge, skills, abilities, and developmental readiness using age-appropriate methods. Students applying to Grades 11 and 12 are required to meet with the School Principal to determine the most suitable academic track—Scientific or Humanities—based on their academic background, abilities, and future goals. This structured entrance exam process ensures that every student is placed in a learning environment where they can thrive, grow, and achieve success.
